Canterbury West to Whitstable Rail Station walking The Crab & Winkle Way.

This is a new walk and if you have a knee problem or walk slow, this walk definitely not for you.

Come and join with me on this lovely 8 mile walk from Canterbury West to Whitstable Railway Station, walking The Crab & Winkle Way.

We will meet at 12.20 pm outside Canterbury West Station, where we will go to have lunch in The Westgate Inn {Wetherspoons} or bring our own.

After lunch we will follow The Crab & Winkle Way to Whitstable Railway Station, stopping off at a local pub called The Monument which is near the station.

This is a lovely walk and well worth doing if able.

Travelling Outward

You need to get the 10.43 am train from London Bridge to Canterbury West, but as the train goes through Knockholt, you can buy a Knockholt to Canterbury West Ticket.

Inward

You need to buy a ticket from Whitstable to Bromley South, leaving Whitstable Railway Station at 5.46 pm.
