Paul's Friday Pictureque Walk- Petts Wood to Keston Village.

We are starting where we finished on Friday November 30th.

Come and join me on a very nice and picturesque walk, wandering through woodland, and a very nice country park. Starting at Petts Wood Station, {trains run regularly to this station from Victoria, London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross}

This walk, is a popular walk, and is stage 3 of the London Loop. distance is 7 miles approx.

We will meet in the Wetherspoons at 10.45am commencing our walk at 11.15am. {to get to the pub, come out of Petts Wood Station Queensway end and walk to the main road, cross over and turn left, the pub is a few hundred yards on the left}

We will be wandering through the Jubilee Country Park, Petts Wood, Black Brook, Farnborough Village and High Elms Country Park where we will be eating our sandwiches or using the cafeteria there.

From there we will keep following the London Loop going via Holwood House {see image above} { {this is where William Pitt the younger lived.}

From there we will make our way to Keston Ponds and then to Keston Village where we will end and have a drink in the Greyhound Pub.

From Keston Village we will pick up a bus to Bromley South Station, where you can get a direct train to Victoria which only takes 15 minutes.

This walk can get very muddy, so you should wear appropriate footwear with some of the views being spectacular it is a walk worth doing.

This walk is not suitable if you walk slow, or have a knee problem, as we will be walking at a medium pace.,

But time will be allowed for photographs. Paul 07530 675739 this is not a smart phone. £5
