Scenic Thames Cruise with fine Picnic Lunch
This is a repeat run of our successful day out on the river last year so if you fancy a fun afternoon following the words of this well-known song……….
“When the weather is fine you know it's the time
For messin' about on the river
If you take my advice there's nothing so nice
As messin' about on the river”
Our motorboat will depart from Datchet, Berks, where we will take a gentle, scenic cruise along the Thames in the direction of Eton & Windsor, returning to Datchet four hours later.
You will be served a personally prepared picnic on board made with fine produce from the Royal Estates sourced at the nearby Windsor Farm Shop (good wine and soft drinks are also included).
Only 9 places are available so please RSVP asap to secure your place.
Payment is strictly in advance only however this is fully refundable if the event is cancelled due to bad weather – a decision will be made based on the forecast 36 hours beforehand.
Price £110 per person.
The plan:
Meet at Datchet train station at 11.30 and take a short five-minute stroll to the river. There are regular South West trains from Waterloo (approx. 1 hour journey time) & Clapham Junction (approx. 40 mins).
