This Sunday we will be wallking through Kings Road, one of the most iconic streets in London, on our way to one of the many beautiful parks in the city: Battersea Park!

11:00-11:30 sharp- We'll get together at Sloane Square itself where there are many benches and shade.

Battersea Park is a large (200 acre) Victorian park, built between 1854 and 1870. It has a riverside promenade, a large lake, many notable trees and ecological areas, children's play areas, a children's zoo, the Pump House gallery, The Peace Pagoda, ceremony venue and sports facilities.
I will show you the most interesting points of both Kings Road and the Park.

Expect to walk around 5 miles= 8 km and we'll take somewhat 4 hours, including lunch break, depending on the pace of the group.
We'll have our lunch at a Cafe by the lake where they serve a variety of saladas, sandwiches, pizzas, cakes and drinks. Alternatively you may bring your own food and have a picnic.

Please pay £7 on the day of the event.

Please bring enough water, hat, water proofs in case of any chance of rain, and wear a comfortable walking shoes.
