Picnic in Beckenham Place Park Keith Slaughter

Come and join me and enjoy a picnic in Beckenham Place Park post code BR3 5BN, we will be meeting at the Stables cafe in the park at 11.30 am.

After the picnic we will do the short walk to Kelsey park and then back to Beckenham Place Park, going via a different route .

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this meet up is not for you, as our entrance back into Beckenham Place Park, we will be walking up and down a few hills.

To get to Beckenham Place Park by train, you need to go to Blackfriars Station and get off at Beckenham Junction. { trains run at 14 & 44 past the hour}

When you come out of the station, turn left, and left again, cross at the traffic lights, turn left l and keep on walking until you will see an entrance into the park as you cross Foxglove Road.

As you enter the park, the stables cafe is half way down on the right.

If travelling by car sat nav BR3 5BN and park in one of the roads near the park. There is a car park, but it will cost you £1 per hr.

If you cannot make the walk, please let me know, so that a member from the waiting list can attend

COV'D 19 regulations will apply so please bring along a mask, and hand sanitiser with you.

£5 meet up fee payable on the day.

Due to the small numbers I am allowed, please advise me at least 24 hrs before, so some one else can take your place.

Failure to do so may result in when you sign up for another of my walks, that you will be moved to not going.
