Please note that places for this are limited (even more so than the British Museum and National Gallery ) so once you've RSVP'd please contact me to make advance non-refundable payment - so be absolutely sure you can come! My details are at the bottom of the page. Right, now on to the blurb!
From the moment you enter this exquisite gallery and are faced with the wonderful grand staircase, its a non-stop feast for the eyes, with paintings, sculpture, armour, clocks and furniture. Much of the collection is French, though there are Dutch masters too and other greats such as Titian, Canaletto and Valesquez on display. Very little has changed since this collection first opened in 1900.
Aside from all that i'll tell you where the collection comes from and the fascinating history of the family who have given us this glorious array of exquisite and fascination pieces of art and objects.
