Fun Saturday at the Seaside - literary morning walk and afternoon concert

SATURDAY 24TH MAY IN FOLKESTONE AND SANDGATE
Drive or take the train......

There are 2 train lines, one from Charing Cross, via Waterloo East, London Bridge direct to FOLKESTONE CENTRAL
Or the fast train from St. Pancras via Stratford International direct to FOLKESTONE CENTRAL

The walk from the station to the Grand up on the Leas overlooking the sea is about 20 mins. or jump in a taxi which costs about £4

There is plenty of parking in front of The Grand.

There is a bar and restaurant in the Burlington hotel next door for ablutions and a quick drink, so perhaps head there first!.

Paul, the walk leader will take you on a circular 'Literary Walk' telling you all about all the famous writers who lived in and around Folkestone and there are lots...

Time for lunch before the concert begins....

Starring ShuWei Tseng, international pianist who will be in the UK from New York for a few days and playing in Folkestone.
