Margate to Broadstairs including visiting The Turner Gallery

Come with me on an enjoyable & picturesque walk from Margate to Broadstairs walking distance 7 miles on the coastal path.

We will meet at The Mechanical Elephant {as map below} at 11.35 am, to stop to have a hot drink.

After our hot drink, we will make our way to Broadstairs.

We will visit The Turner Gallery on our walk.

Laatest Lunch will be at the Captain Digby Pub {www.captaindigby.co.uk}where they have a good menu if you are gluten free, vegan or dairy free.

Please advise if you want lunch as this needs to be booked, or you can bring your own.

After lunch we will carry on our walk to Broadstairs.Station.
Train Travelling Outward.

It is advised that if you are travelling from Victoria you get 9.40 am train, and from Bromley South 9.57 am train.

Return
4.58 pm train from Broadstairs Station arriving at Bromley South at 6.32 pm and Victoria 6.49 pm.

For those with Oyster cards , Over 60 or Freedom passes you need to get a return from Bromley South. I found booking through trainline.com was cheaper.

It also worth enquiring about an end of the zone return, which may be cheaper if you did this,you want a return from Swanley to Broadstairs.

Train Travelling Outward.

It is advised that if you are travelling from ST Pancras International you get 10.12 am train, and from Stratford International 10.19 am train.

6.01 pm train from Broadstairs Station arriving at Stratford International at 7.14 pm and St Pancras International at 7.21 pm.

For those with Oyster cards , Over 60 or Freedom passes you need to get a return from Stratford Internationa. I found booking through trainline.com was cheaper.
