Whitstable to Canterbury {Walking the Crab and Winkle Way}

Come with me and on a lovely walk along the Crab and Winkle Way.
{The Crab and Winkle Way is named after the former railway line which linked the cathedral city of Canterbury and the harbour at Whitstable. The line, the world’s first regular passenger steam railway, began operating in 1830 using an engine designed by George Stephenson (better known for his ‘Rocket’ train). The Crab and Winkle closed in 1952.
Walking distance 8 miles.
We will meet outside Whitstable Rail Station at 11 am, and walk to Whitstable sea front to have a hot drink.
After our hot drink and loo stop, we will follow the signs for the Crab and Winkle Way, along the route we will stop for a lite bite {you need to bring your own} {and a loo stop in the bushes}.
After we have completed the walk we will get a bus to Canterbury Bus Station, and walk past the Cathedral to The Dolphin Pub for a latest lunch. {Please let me know if are coming to the pub, as I need to book.}
