Coastal Walk from Herne Bay to Whitstable

This is a new walk.

Come with me on an enjoyable costal walk frm Herne Bay to Whitstable.

We will meet at Herne Bay Station at !1.10 am, and go for a hot drink near Herne Bay Pier, after our hot drink, we will walk past the back of the coloured huts to the coastal path that goes to Whitstable.

This is a lovely walk and time will be given for photographs to be taken.
When we arrive in Whitstaable we will go to The Lobster Shack {https://www.thelobstershack.co.uk/} for lunch or bring our own.

After lunch we will go to The Perer Cushing {Wetherpoons} for a drink.

{Or you can leave us after lunch if you do not want to go to the pub }

After our drink will walk to Whitstable Station which is 10-15 minutes away.

{Walking distance is 8 miles including the walk back to Whitstable Rail Station. }

If you have a knee probleem or walk slow this walk is not for you.

Travelling

Outward. You can get the 9.43 am train from Victoria or 9.57 am train from Bromley South., and if you have a senior rail card you can purchase a London Terminals to Herne Bay return for £21. 15
but there are tickets you can purchase.

Return 

Trains to Bromley South and then Victoria at 27 minutes past the hr.
